Teachers’ Day 2018

Dated Serchhip the 2nd August, 2018: A meeting chaired by the District Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Sangchhin Chinzah, M.C.S was held today to discuss on the issue of celebrating Teachers’ Day, 2018.

It was decided that this important day be celebrated throughout the district in all educational institutions. The Deputy Commissioner will deliver a special teachers’ day speech through television during the day. 

The event will be used as an opportunity to create the importance of education and create awareness of their roles and contributions in the development of society and our nation. It will be an opportunity to pay them our deepest respect.
