INTEGRATED WASTELAND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (IWDP)

        

       IWDP is a 5 years Programme aimed at the development of wastelands on watershed basis. The broad objective was the promotion of the overall economic development and improvement of the socio-economic conditions of the resource poor sections of people inhabiting the programme areas. It is the programme of Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Land Resources, Government of India. Funds are shared between Central and State Govt. in the ratio of 5500:500.

      There are 5 (five) projects in Serchhip District. Information against each project are given below:-
